This book is part of the series that relate to my imaginary world that I created and named Tajtania. The book consists of a self-portrait and a portrait of the statue that is located at the University of Tennessee where I completed my MFA degree. This warrior had always greeted me every morning. He is almost mundane, always in the same spot and stoic. However, it feels like it is part of my every day experience. The “eye to eye” represents my connection to architectural details and conversation between my invented world and things around me. It commemorates my memory of working on my thesis and my inner conversations of experience in my Tajtania world.
